Your Hero Rules
RULE 01
Your Password = Your Superpower
- Use long passphrases (four random words work great) and 2FA.
- Never share passwords — not with friends or classmates. Ask a parent if you need help.
- Avoid names, birthdays, and obvious patterns.
RULE 02
Think Before You Click
- Ignore pop-ups that promise prizes or "free coins."
- If a link feels odd or rushed, stop and ask an adult.
- When in doubt, go to the website by typing it yourself.
RULE 03
Talk to People You Know
- Only chat or play with real-life friends.
- Never share photos, school name, address, or schedules.
- If someone pressures you for secrets, tell a trusted adult immediately.
RULE 04
Think Before You Share
- If it wouldn't be okay forever, don't post it.
- Keep locations private; avoid photos that reveal your home or school.
- Remember: deleted doesn't always mean gone.
RULE 05
Play It Safe in Games
- Use usernames that don't reveal who you are.
- Don't accept links or files from players.
- Block and report bullies; speak to a parent or teacher.
RULE 06
Ask for Help — That's a Hero Move
- If something feels scary, mean, or confusing — tell an adult.
- It's never your fault if someone misbehaves online.
- Heroes call their team when things get serious.
RULE 07
Lock Your Gear
- Use a PIN/biometrics; lock your screen when done.
- Don't lend devices without permission.
- If you lose a device, tell your parents immediately.
RULE 08
Be Kind Online
- Don't spread rumors or post mean comments.
- Support classmates who are being bullied.
- Kindness is your strongest power.
RULE 09
Balance On-Screen & Off
- Take breaks every hour; move your body and rest your eyes.
- Avoid screens before bed; sleep fuels real-world power.
- Draw, read, play sports — train your hands and your heart.
RULE 10
If It Feels Wrong — Tell Someone
- Stop. Don't reply. Show a trusted adult.
- Save evidence (screenshots) if instructed by an adult.
- Protect yourself and others by speaking up.
